TL;DR use illwiki, it should be stable and faster now

Thank you for your interest in Domwiki. After the announcement, there was a discussion on the wiki and we decided that the best way forward would be to fix the illwiki. I got back into contact with the host of the illwiki and we managed to fix the biggest performance issues. Next we're going to upgrade illwiki software stack and fix it up (make dom6 the default, separate Dom5 from 6 more and so on.
